General Questions
What is the Season Pass and how much does it cost?
The Season Pass is a one-time payment of โ‚น249 that gives you access to the full college predictor, wishlist, and choice fill tool for all rounds of CSAB 2025. You pay once and use it through every round โ€” no monthly fees.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Razorpay, one of India's most trusted payment gateways. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and netbanking. We never store your payment details.
Can I use this on my phone?
Absolutely. The site is built mobile-first. It works on all modern phones and tablets without any app install. Your wishlist and choices sync automatically when you open it on any device with your account.
I paid but can't access the predictor. What do I do?
Payment activation can take up to 2 minutes. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in. If you still can't access after 5 minutes, please send your payment ID on our Telegram support group and we'll activate it manually within 30 minutes.
About the Predictor
How accurate are the predictions?
Predictions are based on actual CSAB closing ranks from 2023, 2024, and 2025. The accuracy depends on how stable cutoffs are โ€” for popular branches at good colleges, cutoffs are very consistent. For less popular branches, there can be more variation. Always treat predictions as guidance, not guarantees.
What is OS vs HS quota?
OS (Other State): For students applying to NITs outside their home state. This applies to the majority of seats (about 50%).

HS (Home State): Reserved seats for students from the state where the NIT is located. Cutoffs for HS are usually lower than OS, meaning it's easier to get in. Select your home state if you're applying HS.
What does "Opening" and "Tightening" trend mean?
Opening: The closing rank is getting higher year over year (e.g., 40,000 โ†’ 42,000 โ†’ 45,000). This means it's getting easier to get in โ€” good sign for you.

Tightening: The closing rank is getting lower (e.g., 40,000 โ†’ 38,000 โ†’ 35,000). More students want this college/branch, so it's getting harder. Plan accordingly.
What is "Buffer Zone" vs "Exact Match"?
Exact Match: Your rank is below the last year's closing rank. You would have been admitted in that year.

Buffer Zone: Your rank is slightly above the closing rank (within 15%). You might still get it if cutoffs open slightly, or in later rounds. These are your "reach" options โ€” worth including in your choice fill.
Counselling Tips
How many choices should I fill?
Fill as many as possible โ€” ideally 50-100. CSAB gives you the highest-ranked choice you qualify for. Adding more choices never hurts and can only help. Include dream options at the top, realistic ones in the middle, and safety options at the bottom.
Should I lock or float my seat?
Float: You're willing to move to a better option in the next round. Your current seat is held while you try for something higher in your list.

Freeze: You're happy with your current seat and don't want it to change in the next round. Choose freeze if you get your preferred choice. Generally, float in early rounds and freeze once you're satisfied.
